Speaker: Ariana Friedlander, MPA

Ariana's topic:The Neuroscience of Conversation: What Every Leader Needs to Know

In this engaging talk, Ariana provides an overview of how conversations impact our brain chemistry and our relationships. She demonstrates how common conversational habits either build or erode trust, and the devastating consequences of distrust. She then shows participants how to develop new conversational skills that build trust, improve engagement and lead to breakthrough innovations. This is a must-see talk for new and seasoned leaders that are navigating change, need better buy-in from their team or want to be on the cutting edge of their field.

Ariana's Bio:

Ariana Friedlander, MPA, is an organizational anthropologist, a leadership development expert and an author. She is the founder and principal of Rosabella Consulting and has over 17 years of experience in fostering positive change within organizations and companies of all shapes and sizes including small business, non-profit, government and higher education. Ariana made Northern Colorado's “40 under Forty” list in 2015 and received the fourth annual Quid Novi Award for Innovative Thought. She is a master facilitator and Certified Conversational Intelligence® Coach. Ariana specializes in modeling shared leadership and navigating co-creating conversations that lead to new innovations. She is adamant about walking her talk, which is why she wrote her first book, “A Misfit Entrepreneur’s Guide to Building a Business your Way” with a community of 31 co-creators. Ariana earned her master's degree in organizational leadership from the University of Delaware. She has a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Clients have included: Water for People, New Belgium Brewing Company, Colorado State University, Fort Collins Country Club, Larimer County, Poudre River Public Library District, City of Greeley, City of Fort Collins, Department of Defense and The Colorado PGA. Ariana lives in Fort Collins, CO with her family.

Speaker: Melissa Kellogg

Melissa's topic: Title: 7 Breakthrough Decisions You Can Make to Unlock Your Full Potential and Achieve Your Impossible Dream

Summary: Melissa was in the New York metro area on 9/11. She was not in Manhattan that morning, but watched it all happen from her home nearby, on Long Island's north shore. She lost friends, classmates and neighbors on that horrific day. It was a life altering event for her, as it was for many; and served as a catalyst for two decades of self-discovery, personal development, and entrepreneurship. Her journey and wisdom gained from it will inspire, educate, and leave you in awe of the amazing woman YOU are and the vast potential YOU possess to achieve the impossible.

Melissa's Bio:

Melissa is a Fort Collins native. She has been an entrepreneur for 20 years. She graduated in 1999 with her MBA from Hofstra University in New York and founded her current business, Avanti Creative Group Inc. in 2005. As a coach, writer, and speaker she teaches women - just like you - how to build a business to five-figures and then six - the toughest part - by managing your mind and using practical tools and strategies to get out of your own way and build a foundation for growth.
