WoW Wearable Tech Workshops Manchester
LEARN HOW TO MAKE LED LIGHT UP BRACELETS!
Women of Wearables with funding from the Trafford Housing Trust brings you a beginner's guide to wearable tech. Our workshop is an introduction to simple circuitry by working with conductive thread. These introductory workshops are a prequisite to our intermediate and advanced workshops.
The wearable technology industry is still a reasonably new industry, so we are giving you a taste of the world of wearables and teach you how to create your very own LED light up bracelet!
During your two hours you will learn all about using conductive thread to create a circuit, use an LED light to make your bracelet light up and wear it home!
Our workshops are open to everyone from the age of 10+ as small parts and sewing is required. Sewing skills aren't a must but it will be handy!
For any questions and queries, please contact Michelle or Rachael at email@example.com

Can I bring my mum, dad, babysitter, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, friend or guardian?
If you would like another person to join us, they are more than welcome to come along and make their own LED light up bracelet! We have limited space therefore, we can only fit a maximum of 10 people per workshop. Please book their ticket separately if they are joining us so we can accomodate everyone.
