Please join us in the planning of WOW-Baltimore, a new festival to be held at the Joseph Meyerhoff

Symphony Hall in March 2012.  Anchored by the BSO’s own Joan of Arc-inspired concerts,

WOW-Baltimore will celebrate women’s achievements across all fields and provide a fun,

comfortable and creative space for conversation and mentorship.   Each day, the Meyerhoff

will be transformed into a multi-functional venue for various activities organized around specific

‘themes’ (health, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, sports/fitness, family life, etc). To develop this

content for WOW-Baltimore, we’re eager to include your thinking and that of women from

throughout the greater Baltimore community.

Over 230 women participated in our first round of September “Think-Ins”, and each session was

filled with energy, excitement, great dialogue and even greater ideas.  We look forward to bringing

more women, and men, together to continue the conversation…and very much hope you will join us.

There will be five “Think-Ins” across three days in November.  Feel free to bring a friend,

spouse, family member or colleague, and chose the date and time most convenient for you:

Friday, November 11, 2011   9:30am – 12:00pm | 4:00 – 6:30pm

Notre Dame of Maryland University, Doyle Formal Lounge, Doyle Hall | 4701 North       Charles Street Baltimore, MD 21210 | Use main campus entrance and follow signs for parking

Saturday, November 12, 2011  10:00am – 12:30pm  | 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall 1212 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

Sunday, November 13, 2011     1:00pm – 3:30pm

The Junior League of Baltimore, 5902 York Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21212

Each session will include an introduction about what the BSO hopes WOW will achieve,

informal discussion and debate.  The subject matter will be determined by the experience

in the room.  Everyone will have the opportunity to contribute. No preparation is required.

See you in November!
