Instructor: Paulina Szczesny; NSCAD Bachelor Of Fine Arts, Major in Textiles

A tapestry is a form of textile/fibre art that is traditionally woven on a vertical loom. Learn how to set up your loom from start to finish and some basic tehniques to weave your own tapestry! Students will learn essential tapestry weaving techniques and have a choice to work with tradtitional or non traditional materials.

Included in the Registration Fee is the Weaving Frame that students can take home and continue their work as well as use for future projects!

Skill Level: Beginner/ Novice

Material Details:

A $10 Material fee is to be paid directly to the Instructor at the event. This will inlude a large variety of weaving materials including yarns, thread, rope, and fabric. Also wood, plants, paper and metal wire.

What's the refund policy?

Attendees may receive a refund up until 30 days before the event. A $5 administration fee will be deducted.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. A printed ticket must be presented to the workshop instructor upon arrival to the class.
