Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team - RI - 2017

Salute and honor America’s true heroes, our veterans.
The state of RI's Office of Veterans Affairs is hosting a two-day event which will include 3 Inspiring & Educational softball games showcasing the national "Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team" (WWAST) against several Ocean State teams. Opponents will be;

Saturday 6/03/17 Noon - RI National Guard Team
Saturday 6/03/17 2:30 PM - Veteran All Star Team
The Suggested Donation is $5 per person with discounts for Families & Youth Programs.
The WWAST represents some of our nation's bravest and most determined heroes, soldiers and veterans. These men have sustained severe injuries resulting in amputations, and through extensive rehabilitation, they have become competitive athletes again. Historically, they win 70% of their games.
Proceeds will benefit the WWAST - Kids Camp and a local veteran’s organization.
The WWAST - Kids Camp is an annual WWAST event as they continue our mission to educate and inspire these children who face many of the same challenges as our WWAST players. Twenty terrific kids between 8 – 12 years old from all over the country, with an amputation or missing limb, and are physically capable of participating in our daily softball clinics are eligible to attend. The WWAST will pay all expenses for the child and a parent, including travel, meals and lodging.
The WWAST motto is "Life without a Limb is Limitless".

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The GPS address is 20 Jordon Ave., Cranston, RI.
100 free parking spaces are available at the Cranston Stadium parking lot along with plenty of street parking available within walking distance. (Note: 4,000 people have attended other events at this stadium.)
What can I bring into the event?
Bring small American flags to show your support for both the WWAST and all veterans and military attendees.
Also, your appetite because food, snacks and drinks will be sold all day.
The WWAST will be selling their shirts, hats, book "Battlefield to Ball Field:, etc..
A 50/50 Raffle will be held each game.
Saturday between games there will be a Silent Auction.
Cash and/or checks only; (NO - Credit Cards).
What's the refund policy?
However, only thunder and unsafe field conditions will cancel a game.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
