Event description

Description

Note: No class Memorial Day 5/27

Category: CONTEMPLATION, ACTION

Facilitated by Gerry Grubbs

Learn to let our writing practice lead us into the life we were meant to live. Discover how the writing process can open us, show us how we limit ourselves, and teach us how to be free from those limitations.

We will look at writing from our own experience, writing from where we are. As we write with openness to what is arising within us, in this moment, we learn to see how our writing contains the knowledge we need to free ourselves from our habitual patterns of relating, believing and seeing.

Discover writing as a teacher and guide as we mine our experiences, practice patience, and make ourselves vulnerable to the flow of life. As we challenge ourselves to be mindful of our experiences, we begin to uncover a new sense of meaning.

Gerry Grubbs works as an attorney and is a published poet. His sixth book of poems "Chrysanthemum Moon" was published by Dos Madres Press last year.
