Event description
Glenn Rudin, the founder of Always Been Creative, offers insights—and help—on the power of having a crystal clear message for your brand.

About this event

What makes you or your business unique? Can you say it in 30 seconds or less? Often, that is all the time you have to make a positive first impression for yourself or your business.

Glenn Rudin, the founder of Always Been Creative, offers insights—and help—on the power of having a crystal clear message for your brand. It starts with understanding your unique selling proposition and bringing it to life in your elevator pitch, business card, website, and more.

Over the years, he has developed expertise in many areas, but within 30 seconds of meeting Glenn, you'll know two of his top passions—messaging and personal branding. According to Glenn, both are critical for anyone who wants to succeed in business or advance their career.

Key takeaways you'll gain from an hour with Glenn include:

  • Discovering how to make the most of your elevator pitch
  • Creating a clear, 30-second (or less) message to propel your business or personal brand
  • Understanding what you're doing right (and wrong) when it comes to messaging
  • Developing powerful conversation starters and creative stories to help you stand out and make the best first impression

Would You Do Business With You? image

Glenn Rudin has worked in the Sales and Marketing fields for more than 25 years, achieving success with many Fortune 500 companies, including Revlon, Crystal Brands, and Shiseido Cosmetics, and selling to the world's biggest brands, including Walmart, Target, CVS, Disney and more.

His product expertise is developing, sourcing, manufacturing, importing, and selling a wide variety of consumer products, including plush toys, novelty items, hard goods, consumer products, promotional products, and printed goods. He regularly attends trade shows worldwide, sourcing products and helping companies with their trade show booth look and message.

The big picture drives the avid storyteller, or as he puts it, "How it all comes together—how it's engineered—before it gets to you." He loves the creative process and believes everyone has the potential to bring creativity to their work.

His forthcoming book is a clear example. A Brand in Your Hand is written entirely in verse (think Dr. Seuss goes to the business school) and vividly illustrated. It's intended to "help your career if you're starting a business and things aren't clear. It will also help you enhance your personal brand, so the messages you're sending are what you have planned."

He has been speaking professionally for the last five years, giving his "Would YOU Do Business with YOU?" seminar and others at universities, libraries, and national conventions.

The father of two adult sons, Glenn spends his spare time working out early and practicing his guitar late into the evening.
