Sunday mornings at 11 am (A family friendly 45 minute service)

Located in the Soccer field beside Woodbury Elementary, 125 Great Lawn, Irvine, Ca

What can you expect?

A no frills experience with God, built around live worship and preaching. There will not be coffee. No ushers. No programs. Just people gathering to turn their attention to God, as the church has done since its inception.

3 ways to participate

We realize that we’re all at different levels of comfort when it comes to social interaction during this time. That’s why we’re providing 3 ways to participate in these outdoor services.

Sit in: Bring your blanket or lawn chair and sit in one of our designated areas in the soccer field to safely enjoy our outdoor service.

Drive-in: You can participate in the services from you car in the parking lot. Since we will be broadcasting the worship and preaching with an FM transmitter, you can adjust your radio to to 100.5 and join in from the safety of your vehicle.

Tune in: For those who are not comfortable participating in in-person gatherings, we will be streaming our services on Facebook live and recordings will later be added to our website. Also, if you have a fever or other Covid-19 symptoms, we ask that you take advantage of our online option.

It’s BYO everything

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and drinks.

What about kids?

Bring them along! We have resumed our GCKids classes for elementary aged students (4 yrs old through 5th grade). Class is held outdoors with social distancing and frequent surface sanitation.

Parents are welcomed to take advantage of this option, but if you would like to stay together thats ok too! We’re preparing funpacks (coloring kits) for the kids to enjoy and downloadable kids’ worship videos for them to watch on their tablets.

How long will we meet outside?

We will be meeting every Sunday through the end of December.

Are we allowed to meet?

Yes, our outdoor gathering has been approved by the IUSD and is within the State of California guidelines. https://files.covid19.ca.gov/pdf/guidance-places-of-worship.pdf

What about restrooms?

We will have access to the school restrooms.

What safety precautions are we taking?

Spacing:

All participants must maintain adequate social distancing of at least 6 feet apart. This requirement does not apply to family members of the same household.

Seating in the field will be marked (using flags) prior to the service. Seating will be spaced 20 feet apart.

Masks:

Everyone will be asked to wear a mask throughout the gathering.

Masks will be available for those needing them.

Touchless Service:

All elements of the service will be touchless. For instance, offering will be taken online or through the drop off of funds in a secure lock box.

Online Registration:

Be sure to designate whether you will be joining us in the field (Sit in) or parking lot (Drive-in).

Sanitation:

Active safety programs including additional hand-sanitizing stations and reduced points of contact. Sanitized cleaning of restrooms before, during and after gatherings.
