Worry & Anxiety: The Joy Stealers
Fri, May 19, 2017, 6:30 PM – Sat, May 20, 2017, 5:00 PM CDT
June Hunt invites you to join us for the Biblical Counseling Intensive on Worry & Anxiety.
Friday, May 19, from 6:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
and Saturday, May 20, from 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Do you know … ?
- The extent and effects of worry and anxiety in your life can be changed.
- You can choose contentment and let go of worry, fear, and anxiety.
When taxes are overdue, there’s talk of downsizing at work, or news of violence hits close to home—what do you do? Have life’s what ifs robbed you of peace? Or, do you turn to the One who can calm your worst fears? You can keep the “joy stealers” from robbing your life of peace and contentment. Join June as she addresses questions like ...
- How can I free myself from fretting and learn to trust God completely?
- What would a life free of worry and anxiety actually look like?
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?”
What is the Biblical Counseling Intensive? Each monthly conference provides teaching on what to do from God's perspective on a single topic. Each teaching is based on June Hunt’s comprehensive 100-topic Biblical Counseling Library. Sessions on Friday and Saturday cover different material. June presents each topic with warmth, wit and wisdom, using hands-on help, lively discussion, compelling videos and actual counseling calls related to the topic.
What does the cost cover? The registration fee of $59 covers expenses for the teaching for both days, conference handouts and materials, and technical support. Light snacks are provided on Friday and Saturday. Lunch is provided on Saturday by Hometown Bakery.
Who can attend? These conferences are for all people from all walks of life. They are for those wanting to gain a biblical perspective on particular topics, those who find themselves in need of practical guidance, and those with a heart to help others, whether in your personal relationships, in ministry or in a professional capacity.
