A bicycle tour of the historic Jackson Park in Chicago, Illinois where the famous World's Columbian Exposition took place in 1893.

Soar on a bicycle through the historic fair grounds of Chicago’s grandest event, the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893. Visit historic sites, touch fair architecture, and walk the steps of Buffalo Bill, Helen Keller, Harry Houdini, and so many more. You can even enjoy a World’s Fair Restroom experience!

Where: Meet your guide at the front steps of the DuSable Museum of African American History at 740 E 56th Pl, Chicago, IL. Look for your guide with the tour sign! Duration: Tour lasts approx. 2 hours. Total biking is 4 miles (6.4 km).

When: Tours are on U.S. Central Standard Time.

BYOB: Bring Your Own Bike! Or rent a bike at the Divvy Station next to the meeting place. Download the Divvy App now to get a head start. A bike rental for the duration of our tour is $15.

Cost: This tour is free to take, and you get to decide what, if anything, the tour was worth when it's done.

Extreme Weather: Tours between November-March. NOTE: If it is below 0 °F/-17.78 °C the tour will be automatically cancelled and your guide will alert you with an email the night before the tour.

Groups of 6 or more must prepay a fee of $10 per guest.

Groups that reserve by making multiple bookings to avoid prepaying will be CANCELED and not accommodated at the tour start. (A booking of 5 and a booking of 4 that chooses to take the same tour together is considered a group of 9)

You are responsible for personal preparation on tours, including but not limited to bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, drinking water, and protection from weather. Tours take place in urban environments and public. Use designated pathways, remain with tour group, and use caution when navigating roads, bike paths, and any obstacles in sidewalk. In the case of unexpected circumstances, such as construction or parades, follow the directions of the tour guide to get through the area safely. Minors must be accompanied by supervising adults on all tours. The booking party is responsible for sharing all information regarding the tour and our Terms and Conditions with any other persons included in the reservation.
