Event description
Girl Scouts at Penn is excited to host our annual World Thinking Day Celebration for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania!

About this Event

This year we will be exploring diversity, equity, and inclusion. Come ready to learn about Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world, try food from different cultures, complete a craft project, and earn the Girl Scouts World Thinking Day 2020 badge!

In order to go home with a badge, we are asking scouts to complete a Take Action Project prior to the event and bring it to present to other troops during our World Thinking Day Celebration. Project ideas include, but are not limited to:

  • Make a video celebrating the diversity of your community
  • Create a poster honoring a woman who has worked towards diversity, equity, or inclusion in her community
  • Create your own project encouraging diversity, equity, and inclusion!

Please RSVP for just the Girl Scouts attending. Feel free to email us with any questions at girlscoutsatpenn@gmail.com! Can't wait to see you there!

Directions: You can enter Houston Hall from Spruce Street, just West of 34th Street. There are wide stairs leading up to two large doors. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance from the back of the building! Once inside, take the stairs or the elevators next to the stairs to reach the second level, where Class of '49 Auditorium is.
