WSN-Japan has organized a international program, Shibori Exhibitions in Mount Koya, to celebrate the creativity and camaraderie of artists who share an interest in shibori and indigo dyeing. The program will explore Mount Koya and Kumano-kodo, an ancient pilgrimage route, (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites). The group will arrive in Osaka 14 October on their own. They will be met by a program guide the morning of 15 October in the lobby of a hotel easily accessible from Kansai Airport (KIX) in Osaka and be escorted until the program ends the morning of 19 October in Kanayawa Ward of Nagoya City.

Step 1: Make a Deposit to secure your spot here.

  • Purchasing a deposit guarantees you a place in this program. When official tour registration opens, the full deposit will be applied to the full tour cost and will be 80% refundable by August 30, 2019.

Step 2: Remit a payment for the Program Balance of $1,625.00 to WSN Japan. Contact Mr. Hiroshi Murase at wsnjapan@gmail.com for payment options.

Step 3: Register for the WSN Japan Program

Full tour costs includes transport between cities and venues, accommodations, entrance fees to museums and historical sites, and select meals – airfare is not included.
