About this Event

“Without a doubt, A Prayer for Compassion is the most powerful film ever made on the issue of religion, animals and food.” ~ Jewish Veg

Are you ever overwhelmed by the suffering in the world and dire predictions for the future? So was filmmaker Thomas Jackson, winner of a Student Academy Award for his short, Slow Dancin’ Down the Aisles of the QuickMart. He responded by setting out on a quest to discover the seeds of compassion in all the world's religions, and learn that peace just might begin our our plates.

Please join us for this important debut screening. If you have any questions, or if you need financial assistance for the purchase of a general admission ticket, please call or text the film's producer, Victoria Moran: 646-734-6167.
