April 2nd: Andre Carvajal

Andre Carvajal is a diverse, self-taught progressive flamenco guitarist. Native to Miami, Andre experiments and transcends the sounds of his influences from Spain and from across the world. Playing for over 13 years with a passion for music and the guitar, with many years spent street performing and playing shows all around south Florida. Andre has developed his own unique gypsy flamenco sound that will create an unforgettable experience.

April 9 - Big Brooklyn Red + The Magic City Soul

Although Big Brooklyn Red is primarily a neosoul artist, his soulful luscious tones appear on some classic gospel style house tracks. Most notably, his work with Patrick Green, George Morel and the Soul Relic crew have been making noise in the dance community. He is a versatile artist whose approach is organic and freeflowing. Usually Big Brooklyn Red's recording sessions are one-take affairs. He listens to the track and then, with tape rolling, spits out an entire song with very little editing required. It is his talent for improvisation that has producers calling him for sessions in all genres. Add to that his Jazzy harmonic sensability and a willingness to stretch himself and the results are pure magic. Check out his website for his solo project at BigBrooklynRed.com and if at all possible catch him live whenever you can.

April 16 - Anabel & Mounir

Anabel and Mounir light up the stage with their infectious Mediterranean Flamenco.

April 23 - Meghan Fitton

Massachusetts native Meghan Fitton has always known that music was her calling. A recent graduate from the University of Miami’s vocal jazz performance program, Meghan is an experienced composer, arranger, and lyricist within the jazz and pop genres. Just six months after moving to NYC, Meghan has performed at venues such as the Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall and Pianos; places familiar to artists like Lady Gaga and James Taylor. She has performed alongside the likes of Becca Stevens, Melinda Doolittle and and Leslie Odom Jr. Strongly influenced by strong women in music such as Brandi Carlisle, Maggie Rogers, Joni Mitchell and Carole King, she feels sensitivity to the lyric and telling a story is the best part about music.
