About this event
The World Innovation Economics (WIE) is an annual event which brings together the world’s most influential speakers, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, Start-ups, investors, academics and students to set a direction towards solving real-world problems. According to the Harvard Business Review, there are 4 types of Innovation, Sustaining Innovation - Breakthrough Innovation - Disruptive Innovation and Basic Research. We strive to cover all these different types of innovation.
For the 2023 Event, the WIE is partnering with the Swiss Finance + Technology Association (SFTA). There are live awards for innovative start-ups in 5 categories and we are also extending the Annual Awards program to include a new category of "Young Innovator Awards". The award ceremony is sponsored by the SFTA which partners with the leading Swiss universities to identify innovative new start-ups at an early stage.
