Event Details

Go Global! Explore new spices and tastes from around the world - and learn to add fresh flavors to your home cooking with ease.  Natural foods chef, Amanda Skrip, will create simple, healthy dishes that draw inspiration from Indian, Thai, and Mexican cuisine.   

 

Class will be gluten free and vegetarian friendly.  Some organic poultry and dairy will be used.  Please let   Amanda know if you have any dietary resrictions or preferences prior to class.  


Part of the proceeds from this class will benefit the Whole Planet Foundation.

 

Ticket price includes snacks during class, food demonstration/tasting, recipe packet.  There will also be fun product giveaways provided by Whole Foods Market!

 

*Class is located at the Halsted Whole Foods location on the 2nd Floor in the Lifestyle Center.

Amanda Skrip

Amanda is a natural foods educator, chef, health coach, and wellness expert. Amanda received her culinary training at the Natural Gourmet Institute and continued her nutrition education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. After working in kitchens in New York City, Amanda relocated to Chicago and began to share her passion for natural foods and healthy lifestyle with her private cooking and coaching clients.

She believes that a healthy lifestyle is about balance, and encourages her clients to consume plant-based foods and seasonally vibrant produce. Amanda works with clients to create small shifts that have a big impact on health, weight and energy.
