Event description

Description

Join guest speaker Betsy Broyles Arnold and our community of medical professionals, educators, advocates and family members as we gather to observe World Alzheimer’s Day. We will explore practical ways for caretakers to connect with their loved ones while also preserving their own health and peace of mind.

Betsy Broyles Arnold is widely known in the caretaking community. She is CEO of the Frank and Barbara Broyles Foundation and co-author of the beloved "Coach Broyles’ Playbook for Alzheimer’s Caregivers," written with her father, Coach Frank Broyles. As an advocate for caregivers since 2009 and as a caregiver herself, Betsy has a unique and deep understanding of how to support and educate caregivers who are caring for people suffering from dementia, including Alzheimer’s. Her talk will be followed by a Q & A session.

Public is invited. Lunch is provided. Free to attend.
