Event Details

Work environments deeply influence how an organization’s employees function. Join us for a workshop that will teach you the skills to research, analyze, and redesign your workspace to enhance productivity, efficiency, and collaboration.

Employees from DOITT's HR, External Affairs, Project Management, and Design/Development departments will be our "clients" for the workshop. The goal will be to understand their work habits, analyze their existing workspaces at Metrotech and use DOITT's agency goals to design the ideal workspace.

Note: Space is limited. If you register, please make every effort to attend.

What You'll Learn:

1. User Research - Identify work habits and workspace needs by talking to co-workers and analyzing existing environments.

2. Visioning - Create a dynamic vision for your improved workspace based on your user research.

3. Concept Generation - Design new workspaces and environments that support your vision and draw from the insights you discovered during user research.

Workshop Facilitators:

Sam Lyon, Workspace Strategist at HOK Architects

Samantha Slockett, Project Interior Designer/Space Planner at US General Services Administration
