Description

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Roses are red, violets are blue, come learn to make flower crowns & support girls too! Regina will lead us through a workshop on how to make DIY Flower Crowns out of paper. (All materials will be included.) We will meet in the Nelson Mandela room @ The Democracy Center.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and currently parked in Boston, Massachusetts, Regina Macomber is a research lab technician by day and mixed media artist by night — addicted to making paper flowers! Regina started her paper flower business, Brackish Water Arts, in 2011 as a way to keep her creativity alive. She loves working with her hands and creating art from recycled materials that would otherwise get thrown away. “I have often felt that the most beautiful things are created by combining elements of different nature,” says Regina, and her shop name stems from her life as a mixture of the fresh waters of Louisiana and the salty seas of New England. She strives to always create new and interesting flowers, handmade with love.
