Inclusion, Diversity & Accessibility:

We are, as always, committed to ensuring that anyone and everyone who wants to learn rope be able to do so in a welcoming and intentional space. We will not tolerate any -ism based words or behavior, so if you marginalize folx based on race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, physical appearance, body size, age, or identity/label/kink, this is not the event for you.

The venue is ADA compliant and accessible. If you require accessibility and accommodations to be able to attend and participate in this event, please check yes for that question and someone on our team will reach out to coordinate that.

Sunday night we will be having our Launch party for BED 2020 at The Church, where Ojipan & Goodmost times will be performing. We will be making announcements and giving out a discount code for tickets to BED 2020. We invite everyone to join us and get Launched into BED!

If you have any questions about the intensive, the party, or BED in general, please reach out via email to info@bondageexpodallas.com.

Attachments and Suspension Lines

This instructional teaches the basics of attachment types for suspension, assessment of which attachment best fits your preferred pattern, and options for building and securing suspension lines.

Prerequisites:

  • Person tying: ability to construct a chest harness (3-rope gote or similarly structural chest harness preferred).
  • Person in rope: ability to be in the harness of choice for an extended period of time.
  • Both: ability to communicate effectively with your tying partner

Class Type: Hands-On

Level: Intermediate

Student equipment needs: 5-6 ropes 7-8 meters (20-25’) in length, suspension gear (carabiners, ring, straps, etc.)

Under Tension: Assessing the Stability of Your Ties Using Partial Suspension

Have you often found yourself staring at a class description that includes the requirement of a “suspendable,” rope pattern? Have you ever wondered what “suspendable,” even means? Under Tension offers a method to diagnose the outcomes created by suspending a pattern or form. Additionally, the class offers diagnosis options pre-suspension, during suspension, after suspension, and after rope is removed.

Prerequisites:

  • Person tying: ability to construct a harness (chest, hip) or another form
  • Person in rope: ability to be in the harness or form for several minutes and share specific verbal feedback about sensations experienced during and after being tied

Class Type: Hands-On

Level: Intermediate

Student equipment needs: 5-6 ropes 7-8 meters (20-25’) in length (minimum), suspension gear (carabiners, ring, straps, etc.)

No Refunds will be given for this event, transfers are allowed.
