Come to a Professional Development Workshop with Debbie Diller: Meeting the Needs of ALL Students: Differentiation from Whole Group to Small Group and Literacy Stations This workshop will provide strategies in differentiating instruction in a balanced literacy classroom.
The workshop presenter is Debbie Diller. Debbie has been an educator since 1976, teaching PreK through 10th grade in public schools in Pennsylvania and Texas. Her experience ranges from being a classroom teacher to a Title I reading specialist to a migrant education teacher to a literacy coach, as well as a national consultant and author. She is the author of many books for Stenhouse Publishers, including Growing Independent Learners, Math Work Stations, Spaces & Places, Making the Most of Small Groups, Literacy Work Stations, and Practice with Purpose. Location: University of Mary Washington, Stafford Campus in the University Hall located in the Gates Hudson Building – 125 University Boulevard – at the far end of the parking lot.
Time: Registration 8:30-9:00 am; Workshop 9:00am-3:30 pm
Cost: Individual: $189. School leadership teams of 3 or more form same school, $175 per participant.
