Workshop: Total Leadership with Stew Friedman
Event Information
Description
This is a workshop that could literally change your life. The purpose of Total Leadership is to improve performance in all four domains of life: work, home, community, and self by creating mutual value among them. Not simply "work/life balance", Total Leadership is a set of hands-on tools that get results. Every participant will receive a copy of the book Total Leadership.
Stew Friedman is the founder and CEO of Total Leadership. He is an innovator in both the leadership development and work/life fields. A faculty member at the Wharton School since 1984, in 1991 he founded both the Wharton Leadership Programs and the Wharton Work/Life Integration Project. He created the Total Leadership program in the late ’90s while he was a senior executive at Ford Motor, where he was responsible for leadership development worldwide.
From VACEOs member George Forsythe: After having read Total Leadership and trying many of Friedman's experiments, I’ve benefited from better health, better relationships with family and co-workers, and increased my community involvement. I feel much more in control of how I choose to spend my time. I am looking forward to learning more in this workshop!
Who should attend: This special workshop is designed for VACEOs members and their executive teams. Non-member CEOs (and their key executives) are welcome as well, space permitting.
Presented by: The Virginia Council of CEOs is a non-profit association that serves SMB CEOs by connecting them so that they can learn from each other. VACEOs members connect through: highly effective peer roundtables; unique learning events; and exclusive events.
