Workshop to Design Peer-Led Peer Support
Homerton Peer Connect is a project aimed at developing peer-led peer support for City & Hackney residents living with health conditions. Peer-led peer support is when people have been through similar things help each other by talking, listening, and sharing ideas, and is guided by someone who has lived through the same kind of experience.
We are inviting you to a session to help design peer support specifically for women living with cancer. Come join us on Thursday the 28th of August from 4:00- 5:00 pm at St Leonard's Hospital (Nuttall Street, N1 5LZ).
This session is an opportunity to share your experiences and insights to help shape peer support for women with cancer. You will also hear about the role of a peer mentor to consider if this is something that may interest you.
- Please meet in the main reception, and we will come meet you at 4 pm.
