Director John Cutrone is a a letterpress printer, bookbinder, papermaker and graduate of Florida Atlantic University and of the MFA in the Book Arts Program at the University of Alabama. He is one half of the partnership that makes up Convivio Bookworks, a small press and book arts studio in nearby Lake Worth. The essential focus of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts (JCBA) collection is on artists' books and the broader topics of the Book Arts: letterpress printing, fine binding, handpapermaking and paper decoration. The Jaffe Collection began a the private collection of Arthur Jaffe and is considered one of the largest and most varied collections of its kind in the country and is housed at the Florida Atlantic University Library along with a letterpress and bookmaking studio, papermill and gallery.
