Event description

Description

This workshop, which is one of a number of events promoting Fairtrade in the Bridge of Don, will help participants become more knowledgeable and confident in addressing the following questions:

- What is Fairtrade?

- Why do we need Fairtrade?

- What are the issues and how can we support and promote it?

- Where does Fairtrade sit in the Global Goals for Sustainable Development?

Charlie Barrow and Barbara Holligan from Aberdeen for a Fairer World (AFW) with support from Bridge of Don Academy pupils lead an open–to–all workshop including activities such as tastings, games and media you can share with others.

Come and strengthen your Fairtrade muscles!

The event is free but limited to 30 participants.

Aberdeen for a Fairer World, in partnership with Bridge of Don Academy who are supporting our work through their Fairtrade community project, have during the last year been receiving funds through a Co-op Community Project from Members’ shopping at Scotstown Co-op in order to organise this autumn a series of events promoting Fairtrade in the Bridge of Don.
