Description

Join us for an invaluable 4-session workshop on the latest open source Security offerings from AWS. Familiarize yourself with the AWS Shared Responsibility Model for security; get hands-on with AWS Security Tools, (and learn what use case each tool addresses); understand how cloud-native Machine Data Analytics improve cloud security and compliance in real-time; and find out how Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects your applications.

SESSION ONE: ANEXINET

A discussion of the AWS Shared Responsibility Model, distinguishing between demarcation lines for different Service types.

This presentation covers:

  • Infrastructure, Container and Abstract Services

  • Lines of responsibility demarcation

  • Audit responsibilities

SESSION TWO: IMPERVA

Imperva is an AWS advanced technology partner vetted by AWS for a security competency that sells through AWS Marketplace and provide Managed Rulesets for the native AWS WAF offering.

Imperva solutions for AWS build on the concept of a shared responsibility model. Application and data security in the public cloud is based upon a mutual obligation to deliver the best possible security for applications and data in AWS.

We’ll talk about what Imperva solves, how that fits with native AWS security solutions, and together how we solve customer security challenges. These solutions natively support features like on-demand availability, auto-scaling, auditing, reporting, and logging in AWS. We also bring technologies including RASP, Data Masking, and advance Attack Analytics to customers in AWS.

SESSION THREE: ANEXINET

Logging, Analysis and Alerting on AWS - AWS offers a number of services focused on logging and monitoring from a security perspective, and this session covers how these services can be used to produce records which can also be fed to a centralized logging service and from which audit reports and archives for compliance can be derived.

This presentation covers:

  • CoudTrail

  • Config

  • VPC Flow Logs

  • Other AWS log sources

  • Aggregation and Analysis

SESSION FOUR: SUMO LOGIC

Real-Time Cloud Security & Compliance, from the Inside & Out - Sumo Logic will hightlight its integrated suite of applications that provide automated predictive analytics and deep insights for SecOps teams to help them more effectively manage and audit their entire modern application environment.

Sumo Logic will demonstrate how they deliver comprehensive visibility into the security and compliance posture of applications running on AWS, and Microservices including; Amazon Inspector, AWS Cloudwatch, AWS Cloudtrail, AWS Config, and AWS Guard Duty.
