Learn Python for Data Analysis, a workshop lead by Katharine Jarmul,
Are you new to programming or Python and do you wish you had a way to work with data and numbers in an automated way? Python is quickly becoming the language du jour for data analysts everywhere. In this workshop, we will cover Python basics as well as an introduction to Python data analysis tools for charting and data wrangling. We will introduce you to how to import, interact, clean and export data using Pandas (a well-known and respected Python library). By the end of this half-day course you will feel comfortable importing and running simple Python analysis on your datasets, large or small.
