Event description

Description

Join us for a morning of learning and networking with others with an interest in heritage tourism. Clara Holmes and Doug Harman will guide you through the journey of creating a traveling exhibit for your county or the theme of your choice. They will be joined by Kim Burns from Redstone Visual. Kim has worked on historical exhibits with the Lakes Trail, the Tarrant County Historical Commission, and the Cowboy Hall of Fame just to name a few. She is an expert in her field and we are so glad to have her share her knowledge with us.

The Tarrant County exhibit has been on display in cities around the counties at schools, museums, and libraries with the goal of educating viewers about the rich history of the county. It has encouraged travel to historic sites around the county. This information can be used for development of other types of exhibits too. It has been our experience that sites are always looking for programing like educational exhibits. It can also be a great fund raiser for your organization.

Lunch will be provided with a tour of the Masonic Temple to follow. I look forward to seeing you there.

Payments can be made online, through the mail, or at the door on the day of the event.

Sincerely,

Jill Campbell Jordan
Executive Director, Texas Lakes Trail Region
