Event description

Description

Join us for a hands-on workshop as we tackle citizen and voter engagement in local elections.

How does it work?
This is a one day workshop where you will learn and explore new methods to tackling this important issue. We will talk directly with citizens, discover new insights, prototype and test new ideas, and present our findings to the group.

Who should attend?
All are welcome! We believe that to solve big problems we need all hands on deck. Anyone who is interested specifically in encouraging more citizen engagement in local government, elections, citizen advocacy, or is just curious about “Citizen Design” should attend.

What is Human-Centered Design?
We will introduce the framework for human-centered design as a means to tackle this issue.
Human-Centered Design (sometimes referred to as “Design Thinking”) is an innovation and problem-solving process. It begins with empathy and truly understanding the people you are designing for and ends with solutions that better meet their needs.

Venue Details will be sent to Confirmed Participants.
