"History and life of some of the most iconic Italian cities seen through the lens of beauty, function and fragility"


Please join us for this remarkable workshop led by Paolo Lattaioli an esteemed guest architect and urban planner from Perugia, Italy.
Through projected images and words spoken from the heart if this experienced architect, we will be guided to see afresh four piazzas within: Firenze, Perugia. Siena and Arezzo.
Moving between the Medioevo (MiddleAges) thought the Rinascimento (Renaissance), each city will be discussed with historic documents and ink drawings done by Paolo.
Participants are invited to comment on the motivations that induced these cities'singular development while reflecting on their possible destiny.

Architect Paolo Lattaioli graduated cum laude at the University La Sapienza (Roma).
Paolo lives in Perugia where he worked as executive officer for historical centers.
in 1984 he founded the Interregional Institute for historical and urban studies (I.I.S.S.U.).
He is academic at the prestigious Accademia"P.Vannucci" and he is currently a member of the Nobile Collegio del Cambio (Perugia).
His works include projects and studies for Perugia, Roma, Todi, Citta' di Pieve, San Miniato, Agrigento, Milano, Sarajevo, Assisi, Popola, Washington D.C.


Level: All levels welcomed (This workshop will be conducted in Italian with very little English spoken)
