Event description

Description

Growing and scaling a new venture is not “business as usual.” In fact, many of the strategies and techniques that work best for established companies tend to fail (often miserably) when it comes to new ventures.

In an environment where formal business plans are of little help and ideation continues around the development of the right business model, management teams must be innovative, resourceful and adaptive. People, not plans, define outcomes.

In this workshop, we will discuss how established companies can structure their teams for innovation and execution. This will not be 50,000 foot fluff about the imperative to innovate. Rather, it will be full of specific strategies and techniques to make your innovation efforts more successful.

What We'll Cover

- The key differences between established and new ventures.

- The most common impediments to innovation inside of established companies, which ones are avoidable, and strategies to avoid them.

- The most common strategic errors in how leaders plan, predict and measure financial and operational outcomes.

- How to organize teams, run them and get the most out of them.

- How to unlock powerful insights that lead to superior value creation.
