For the nursing mother, the end of maternity leave is an especially daunting time. There are many logistics to consider, it doesn't have to be overwhelming. We have a boat load of tips to help you prepare and survive the transition.

  • when to start pumping and storing your milk
  • wardrobe considerations
  • time management tips
  • sample pump schedules at work
  • working with your childcare providers
  • how much milk to send
  • logistical ideas for working and pumping
  • huge photo library of lactation spaces in and around DC.

Details: Babies are welcome. Bring a mat or blanket for your little one to stretch out. Fussy babies are asked to step out momentarily. Food and snacks are permitted. Handouts and slides will be provided. Class is 2 hours.

This class is repeated monthly. Contact the organizer for details about upcoming dates, times and locations.
