Actions and Detail Panel

Online event

This is a group support session for people who have experienced or are experiencing racism in the workplace. The session is free of charge.

About this event

Experiencing racism at work can be distressing, and often goes unaddressed by the employer. Attempts to engage with employers about these experiences can result in a hostile response, and problematisation of the person reporting the problem! This is why we hold monthly group support sessions, where people can share their experiences and be witnessed in a non-judgemental space. We can also offer perspectives and advice based on group members experiences. Being witnessed and supported by a community is an important step to processing the trauma of racism at work in a healthy way, and healing.
