Event Details

Join WPTI and ThriveNYC for a roundtable discussion on the topic of workplace mental health.

This session will provide attendees with knowledge about mental health, how workplaces affect mental health, and strategies that employers can use to increase workplace-based support for employees who may be facing mental health challenges. Attendees will receive introductory knowledge about burnout and vicarious trauma and learn about resources that can be used to support employees. Attendees will also learn about Thrive in your Workplace; a ThriveNYC initiative focused on partnering with organizations to shape workplace mental health strategy and implementation.

We encourage staff from human resources, senior management, and agency leadership to attend.

Registration is first come, first serve, and due to space limitations and program interest, organizations can only send two representatives to this session. Any registrations received after two representatives have signed up already will be placed on the waitlist. WPTI will reach out to you if your registration will move to the waitlist.

Please note that information from the registration form will be shared with ThriveNYC.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI) increases the effectiveness of people, programs, and organizations that are committed to generating pathways out of poverty through employment. Our three-tiered approach strengthens capacity at all levels of the workforce development system.

  1. Professional Training: Develop the skills and careers of practitioners
  2. Organizational Consulting: Maximize productivity of programs and teams
  3. Systems Building: Create linkages, foster research and influence funding and best practice priorities

Since its founding in 2004, WPTI has become the preeminent non-profit training and technical assistance intermediary for New York City’s workforce development community. The organization has trained over 9,000 workforce practitioners from over 900 organizations that collectively serve over 500,000 jobseekers. As a standalone, non-political organization, WPTI provides an inclusive bridge among providers, funders and government agencies that contribute to building NYC’s workforce.

Drawing on well refined resources and relationships, WPTI combines the expertise of highly experienced workforce professionals, direct employer input, academic research, labor market information, and interactive adult learning principles to create high-quality curricula, impactful consulting frameworks, and useful resources for the field.
