Course Description: This course is designed to help individuals working with young children identify and understand the impact of prolonged, unaddressed stress on the infant/toddler/preschooler and the parent-child dyad. Additionally, the course will review how chronic stress may lead to interference with brain development, emotional regulation and can contribute to child maltreatment. This workshop is also designed to explore the phenomenon of resilience in infants and preschoolers.
