Working with Transgender and Gender Expansive Clients

This two-hour, in-person workshop invites counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees to explore clinical work with transgender and gender expansive clients. Together, we will:

  • Clarify key terms and concepts commonly used within gender-diverse communities
  • Consider the lived experiences of trans and gender expansive people in counselling and psychotherapy
  • Reflect on our own understandings and experiences of gender, both within and beyond the therapy room

No prior knowledge is required. Practitioners of all backgrounds and experiences of gender are warmly welcome. Limited pay what you can tickets available.
