Description

**We are able to offer 6 PA Social Work CEUs for this training**

Join LSH’s Bilingual Domestic Violence Program for a training introducing participants to the dynamics of domestic violence, the impact of domestic violence on survivors, barriers to safety for diverse populations of survivors, and an introduction to effective intervention strategies. Participants will learn about empowerment counseling, safety planning, screening, and resources for survivors. Furthermore, the training will center an anti-oppression lens in which we will explore how all these topics are impacted by race, gender, class, and sexual orientation.

The day will include:

•Interactive Exercises
•Skills Practice
•Networking

And much more!

Location information: The training will be at Lutheran Settlement House 1340 Frankford Ave. Our training room is down a short flight of stairs, please contact us if this would prevent you from attending. There is limited parking available in a small lot behind our building. The 25 bus drops off directly outside our door, and the Girard stop on the El is a short walk away.
