Working with Students with Anxiety with Dr. Rick Manista - Anxiety is becoming more prevalent in our students. This workshop will identify neurological and emotional causes of anxiety, interventions and strategies that can be utilized in the classroom and recommendations for working with the students' parents. 3 free CEU credits for attending.
Dr. Rick Manista graduated with his bachelors in psychology from Fordham University, his masters of arts of education in mental health counseling from Columbia University and his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Southern California. He is a certified Gestalt Psychotherapist, crisis intervention trainer and anti-bullying specialist. He works at the Banyan School and in private practice. He specializes in children and teenagers with learning disabilities and anxiety.
