Working with is a series of talks in MoA’s Academy programming that seeks to explore how architects can build better relationships with other professionals in the industry as well as experts in other fields to share knowledge and foster new business opportunities.

This talk will discuss how architects can extend their relationship with clients to post-occupancy evaluation services, showing how a more proactive and collaborative approach will result in better outcomes. Offering post-occupancy evaluation services can close the gap between design expectation and reality, helping to deliver better-performing buildings and creating a more productive relationship with clients.

This seminar will be led by Tom Dollard, associate and head of sustainable design at Pollard Thomas Edwards, and Lisa Ann Pasquale, technical specialist and researcher in building performance evaluation. The seminar will discuss soft landings and building performance services, as well as offer insight into how to succesffuly approach resident engagement and interviews. This seminar will help you understand how to define your model for offering post-occupancy services to clients, the benefits you will get and what are the opportunities for further development in this area.
