Working Together to Grow Good Jobs in the Denver Area: Strategies for Small and Large Firms
A presentation by FRESC: Good Jobs, Strong Communities
MHC Jobs Working Group Brown Bag Series
FRESC: Good Jobs, Strong Communities will present findings from research it has done in conjunction with members of Mile High Connects and local small business and policy experts to:
- Define what is a “good job” in our region,
- Specify why good jobs are beneficial to our regional economy,
- Outline best practices used through the country to create good jobs, and
- Make recommendations for how these practices could be used by small and large employers alike to benefit our region.
Attendees will take away a deeper understanding of these issues, how our region compares to other communities, and specific strategies to promote the creation of good jobs among small and large employers.
About the Brown Bag Series:
Over the past several months, members of the Mile High Connects Jobs Working Group have been conducting a range of research efforts looking at the connections between middle skill jobs and transit. Over the next several months, we will be hosting a monthly brown bag series (BYOL) to share our findings on the following topics. We hope you can join us and please share with your colleagues.
