Working Together: Diversity and Inclusion Practices

Target Audience

This full-day intensive is intended for caseworkers and program staff within DYCD-funded programs.

Description

Working Together: Diversity and inclusion Practices is a TWO-session training. In the first full-day interactive workshop participants will gain an understanding of diversity and invlusion practices within programs, clarify the importance and impacts of such practices, and learn inclusive behaviors to ensure all clients and co-workers are safe, respected and affirmed.

In the follow-up session on October 24th participants will work-shop specific examples and experiences from their programs and will continue to explore bias, discrimination, microagressions, positive language, and further map intersectionality.

This workshop will require that you register and attend it's half-day follow-up session on October 24th, 10:00am - 1:00pm.

This training is made possible by funding from DYCD, and is available at no cost to the CBOs with which DYCD contracts.
