Working Through Wishes - Live Streaming Event (the web address will be emailed to you)

Just as birth doulas help pregnant clients create labor and delivery wishes, an end-of-life doula can support people as they consider their preferences for living fully and dying well. We’ll cover strategies that will prepare you to assist clients as they consider and craft their plans, as well as spend time on introspective contemplation.

In this 2-hour workshop, we will cover:

• A Heart-Centering Exercise
• Holding Space, Safe Space
• “Special Place” Visualization
• Compassion in Action
• Equanimity and Stability
• End-of-Life Wishes (templates and options)

All techniques can be infused into your end-of-life care practice. We'll work through them ourselves first, and then discuss how to offer them to clients/patients.
