Event description

Description

Working Minds trains organizations to proactively address the early warning signs of suicide in the workplace. Just as organizations have realized they can help reduce heart disease by encouraging exercise, they can also reduce suicide by promoting mental health and encouraging early identification and intervention.

The training, developed by the Carson J Spencer Foundation, is listed on the National Best Practices Registry for suicide prevention. Working Minds will educate and equip participants with tools to address mental health and suicide concerns at work.

Working Minds will help your work place:

  • Address emotional well-being of employees
  • Create a caring community
  • Ensure healthy and productive employees

The training includes:

  • Participant workbooks
  • Wallet card
  • Magnet
  • Light refreshments

For questions contact Lacey McFarland at 801-399-7187 or lmcfarland@co.weber.ut.us
