About this Event

Join Peirce College's Legal Studies Student Association on Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00pm for the Working for the FBI Webinar where you can gain a better understanding of what it takes to apply and work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

By attending this online event, you will hear from FBI Special Agent and Recruiter for the Philadelphia Field Office Cerena Coughlin who will provide you with a different perspective on the FBI, what it does, and who comprises its ranks. Coughlin will discuss the critical need for diversity in hiring, address the misconceptions people have about joining the FBI, and provide clear guidance for becoming a viable candidate.

Also, Peirce's Center for Career & Professional Development will present on the services they provide all students and alumni, so you can best prepare for landing this dream career.

The event will take place through Zoom, a free online platform. The log in information will be provided following registration.

Get to know more about the keynote speaker:

FBI Special Agent Cerena Coughlin is the Employment Recruiter for the Philadelphia Field Office covering the entire Southeastern portion of Pennsylvania, and local Coordinator for InfraGard, a public/private partnership between the FBI and representatives of critical infrastructure. She was a member of the Los Angeles Innocent Images SAFE Team where she participated in investigations of child exploitation, and was assigned to Counterterrorism squads in LA and Baltimore, and Cyber in Philadelphia. She joined the FBI in March, 2001.
