Working & Breastfeeding
Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (EDT)
Mothers meet with Ellen Rubin, one of our International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants, who will discuss insights, tips, and strategies for how Mothers can balance returning to work and breastfeeding their babies. We hope that you'll be able to join us for our Working and Breastfeeding Class on Tuesday, May 15th, at 7 pm in the Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh Squirrel Hill waiting room. Preparation for returning to work begins when your baby is 4 weeks old, so whether you have already returned to work or are planning to do so in a few months, we have important information to share with you. Among the topics we cover are pumping schedules to maintain milk supply, how to offer a breastfed baby a bottle, breastmilk storage and regulations that protect your right to pump at work. The Working and Breastfeeding Class costs $10 per family. You are welcome to bring along your partner, caregiver, and baby.
