Workforce Development Series: Preparing Young People for the Workforce

You secure an internship for one of your students at a mid-sized, values-based organization. Within the first week, the company is complaining that your student is behaving inappropriately and that they are not sure that the partnership is working. Sometimes we are so busy securing opportunities for our young people that we forget to prepare them for the opportunity. In this workshop we will explore strategies for preparing young people for the workforce and teaching them self-advocacy.

All workshops are designed to encourage collaboration, creativity, learning, and sharing. Please be mindful that workshops are interactive, and may include video, chat, or audio participation.
