"Worker-Mothers on the Margins of Europe" A World on the Move Event
Event Information
Description

The American Anthropological Association (AAA) has launched a public education initiative entitled World on the Move: 100,000 Years of Human Migration. The AAA invites you to hear anthropologists read selections from their books on migration and displacement. In addition to the author presentations, there will be an opportunity for guests to ask the authors questions and have authors sign copies of their books.
On August 25, Leyla J. Keough, Research Development Coordinator and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Anthropology at UMass, will be reading selections from her latest book, “Worker-Mothers on the Margins of Europe” published by Indiana University Press.

We need your support
The success of World on the Move depends on funding from AAA members and contributions from participants and supporters like you. Without your help, we cannot produce attractive and engaging public education programs on human migration and displacement. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the American Anthropological Association, please do so online: AAA Public Education Fund or by mail/fax Mail-In/Fax Form and write in “Public Education - Migration” for “Other.”
