Event description

Description

Over the last 5 years, Work Redux has rallied thousands of women and non-binary folks spanning diverse backgrounds to reimagine the future of the workplace as they come into positions of leadership. It is now clear that our work together needs a moment of catharsis, where we fully acknowledge the anger, pain, and fear bubbling beneath each topic we’ve covered. This November, we’ll host an entire event centered on our collective rage.

Together, we will excavate the anger we are too often forced to hide deep within us. Our rage is valid. Our rage is survival. Our rage is needed, now more than ever, in the fight against a terrifying normalization of inequity, racism, and misogyny. This will not be a place of silence and complacency, but a place to channel our individual fears, hopes, creativity...and burning rage into a collective story of action.

Option Suggested Reading Book Titles

The topic of rage was inspired by three bestselling books on women’s anger. We are eager to learn how you've experienced rage over gender inequity, and how that meets racial and economic realities.

About Work Redux

As part of Pollen’s mission to invest in human connection, Work Redux is an event series (and now also a network of leaders) that inspires questions, sparks discussion, and drives action to challenge cultural assumptions behind the current, dominant work culture. We know the future of leadership must look gender-equal. But what microactions can we take to build and redesign the workplace to better support new points of view? Together, we will better understand how we can design and change the future of work as experienced and creative women and non-binary leaders step into power.

While Work Redux was created by and for women and non-binary leaders, it will take all of us, including cisgender men, to realize the systemic changes that are necessary for gender equality. If you want to reimagine the future of the workplace with us, you are welcome to attend and listen.
