Baby boomers and beyond comprise today’s multigenerational workforce. Extended work lives benefit employers who recognize the experience and commitment that people of all ages bring to the workplace.

In partnership with Age Friendly Sarasota, the 2017 World Rowing Championships proudly present: Work and Aging: Best Practices Around the World. This educational seminar will provide guidance and insight from industry experts on how to develop and maintain a more livable and workable environment for the aging demographic in our community.

Presenter: Dr. Kathy Black, Ph.D.

Dr. Black is The Patterson Foundation Age-Friendly Sarasota Initiative Consultant, Hartford Geriatric Scholar, and a Professor at the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee.

Moderator: Bob Carter, MPA

Mr. Carter is The Patterson Foundation Age-Friendly Sarasota Initiative Consultant and a past President of the Florida Council on Aging. He recently retired CEO of the Friendship Centers.
