Steve Clorfeine

Steve Clorfeine is one of the founding arts faculty at Naropa University in Colorado. He was on the faculty and later directed the Experimental Studies Dep't at SUNY New Paltz. His performance work was commissioned by many venues in NY State. A member of Meredith Monk’s company, performing throughout Europe and the U.S, 

Steve began teaching theater in Nepal and India in 2003 and subsequently received two Cultural Envoy grants from the U.S. State Dep’t for extended performance work. Steve currently teaches semi-annually in Barcelona, Zurich, and Cologne,  

His non-fiction book on Nepal was published by Station Hill Press and 3 of his 5 poetry collections were published by Codhill Hill Press (2007-14).  His ongoing writing workshop meets twice/month, now on Zoom.

Mikhail Horowitz

Mikhail Horowitz is the author of two collections of collages with texts — Big League Poets (City Lights, 1978), and Ancient Baseball (Alte Books, 2020) — and several books of poetry, including Slapstick Gravitas, newly published by Station Hill Press. His performance work, with Gilles Malkine and other musicians, has been featured on a dozen CDs, including The Blues of the Birth (Sundazed Records), a collection of jazz fables, and the anthology album Bring It On Home, Vol. II (Columbia Records). He lives in Saugerties, deep in the woods on the former site of a 19th-century bluestone quarry, with the printmaker Carol Zaloom.
